============================================================

I

love

giraffes

they make me

laugh

some-

times

they

make

me

giggle.

It’s

their

awkward

graceful

way that

makes me smile.
Imagine

so tall a neck, so

high and keen an
eye!

What joy to see so
soon

a friend so far
ahead!

How good to sup on
leaves

from sky blue
plates!  I love

their long lank
legs, their

spotted and
speckled skins.

Such feats of
balance they

perform by simply
walking

or moving at all.
They make

me laugh.
Sometimes

they make me
giggle.

Imagine
Is that what

so
                    makes

small
                them

a
                     gentle?

head
                Is that

so
                    why

large
                they’re.

a                      so

heart
                kind

!
                      ?
